Spotlight by Raquel in Fiery Copper RL31/29

Spotlight by Raquel in Fiery Copper RL31/29 has a monofilament top, lace front Memory Cap II with Tru2Life heat-resistant synthetic hair (up to 180 degrees).  She is about the same length as Show Stopper, however, this wig has been cut because the back of the wig was horribly frayed and crackly like straw, which I’m sure is a lack of inspection of returns on the part of Best Wig Outlet.   Other than that major flaw this wig is a typical Raquel wig–a little dry/coarse but has good movement and the color is beautiful.

Imani-Brie by Vivica Fox in P4/27/30 and P2216

Imani by Vivica Fox (formerly Brie by Ebony) is a beautiful long, full wig that is layered and flipped up at the ends.  She has a middle skin part with a traditional wefted cap, she’s smooth and silky, does not tangle and is not too shiny.  She reminds me of Glow Girl by Forever Young and the FY’s Espresso is very similar to Imani’s P2216.  The quality of Vivica Fox’s wigs are definitely right in line with Forever Young wigs.  Color P4/27/30 is a medium dark brown base with light and medium auburn highlights.  Color P2216 is a very confusing color for me.  Leni’s P2216 has two colors:  caramel and apricot.  Joanna’s P2216 has four colors:  medium brown, caramel, apricot and blonde (which I thought was a mistake because Juliette’s P2217 has the same four colors).  Now, Imani’s P2216 has the blonde/apricot color on top with medium reddish-brown tips.  Maybe it’s because Vivica has created her own line plus she has taken over wigs from other lines like Ebony and Beverly Johnson.

Evelyn-Estee by Vivica Fox in FS4/27

Evelyn by Vivica Fox (formerly Estee by Ebony) in FS4/27 is a very cute little bob.  She has a semi-open wefted cap with a black skin side part.  Her hair fiber is very smooth, silky and shiny, but can be powdered.  FS4/27 is a medium dark brown with light auburn highlights.  Estee is a great summer wig!

Juliette by Vivica Fox in P4/27 and P2217

Juliette by Vivica Fox is a full hand tied, total stretch cap which is airy and extremely comfortable.  The dark color has a black skin part and the light color has a white skin part.  Her hair fiber is smooth, not shiny and does not tangle, but it could feel hot and heavy on your neck in the summer.  Color P4/27 is medium dark brown with light auburn highlights.  Color P2217 has medium brown, caramel, apricot and light blonde chunks.  The first two pics are not what the color looks like in real life, the rest of the pics are pretty accurate.  This wig has bangs that are half one color and half another color, which is probably just a flaw in this particular wig.  Vivica Fox’s wigs are very well made and well worth the price.

Julia by Jon Renau in Cinnamon Syrup FS12/24B

Julia by Jon Renau in Cinnamon Syrup has a mono top and lace front which looks very natural and realistic.  She is very similar to the Jackson by Noriko.  The hair fiber is smooth and silky and has great movement.  Diana loves this wig and has nothing bad to say about it.  Great wig!

Jackson by Noriko in Copper Glaze

Jackson by Noriko in Copper Glaze has a traditional wefted permatease cap.  As usual, the Noriko permatease is excellent.  Her hair fiber is soft and silky, and has great movement.  Jackson is a great wig!

Camera Ready by Raquel in RS29 and RL32/31

Camera Ready by Raquel is a beautiful wig and does not look like the model pictures which is a good thing!  She is similar to Gisele by Jon Renau but she has more curls, and her hair fiber is soft and silky like Gisele!!!  That’s a plus for us!  The cap has a mono part and lace front, although I don’t know why they use two words to differentiate the part and front when it is clearly one piece of material with no seam.  No wonder it’s confusing…the wig companies can’t even decide which terms to use!  If you look at the list prices Camera Ready is about $70 cheaper than Gisele.  Diana and I have decided that we like the mono part/lace front better than the mono top/lace front for a few reasons:  the price can be up to $100 cheaper; there’s no visible seam between the mono part and lace front; and we really don’t need to change the part around.  The colors are beautiful too.  RS29+ is an even blend of highlights which are dark gold blonde, strawberry, light blonde and light golden brown; I believe the plus means that there are several colors in it.  RS32/31 is dark auburn with bright auburn highlights–it’s exactly the same as ROP’s Chestnut.  We have nothing bad to say about this wig and would recommend it in a heartbeat!  Camera Ready and Gisele are fighting over the prestigious up front and center position in Diana’s collection, and since it’s two against one…I think Gisele may be losing her spot!
