Jackson by Noriko in Copper Glaze

Jackson by Noriko in Copper Glaze has a traditional wefted permatease cap.  As usual, the Noriko permatease is excellent.  Her hair fiber is soft and silky, and has great movement.  Jackson is a great wig!

Hunter by Rene of Paris in Strawberry Swirl

Hunter is a hot mess!!  She is discontinued and I got her on clearance for about $70 and I think that’s still way more than it’s worth!  I was on a new website and I had a memory lapse or something, and I thought that I was getting Kendall which has a mono top but is also being discontinued, so I got all excited and ordered it right away instead of discussing it with my partner.  So, that’s what I get for being in a hurry!  I wore it for barely one hour in the house.  Diana and I have a rule that we don’t buy a wig on the spur of the moment; we view the wig at different wig stores and discuss the wig and the colors first.  However, in my defense, I have been looking at Kendall for a long time…I think what screwed me up is that they both sound like boy names to me…oh well, you live, you learn!

So, back to Hunter.  She has an open wefted cap, the hair on the crown comes out forward, towards your face and if you try to comb it back the wefts open up, and the hair on top is a little sparse.  I do not like the curl pattern in the front of the wig and the back of the wig has a see-thru spot on top.  Strawberry Swirl is a pretty color but the hair fiber is very shiny.  I can’t think of one good thing to say about this wig.  Do not buy it!  If you want to try it that bad I’ll give you mine for the price of postage.

Carrie by Noriko in Copper Glaze R

Beautiful Carrie!  Here she is in Copper Glaze.  Still perfect in every way!

Angelica by Noriko in Copper Glaze R

Hi, it’s Diana with a wig review of Angelica by Noriko.  Angelica is a very long, layered style with a longer layered side bang.  I had to cut about 3-4 inches off the end to make it more manageable for me, so the length you see in my pictures is a few inches shorter.  The hair fiber is outstanding!  It’s very soft, smooth, not too heavy, and it has great movement.  Copper Glaze R is a beautiful color and it’s rooted so the permatease is not noticeable, although Noriko permatease is so nice that I think it would look just fine if it wasn’t rooted.  Angelica is a beautiful, well made wig that I would have no problem recommending to anyone looking for a long hair style.

Avery by Noriko in Maple Sugar-R

Avery by Noriko is a beautiful, long curly wig with full bangs.  She has a comfortable, traditional cap with a very good permatease and comes in rooted colors.  The Noriko hair fiber is very silky and smooth and Maple Sugar-R is a beautiful color.  Diana has the same problem with this wig as I do with Jessica by Jon Renau.  The top and sides up to the ears are very close to the head and then it curls out.  The wig does not look like this in the two video reviews I’ve seen, so maybe it’s just this particular wig that’s like this, or it could be an issue with head size and shape.  Overall though, Avery is a great wig.

Carrie by Noriko in Moccachino-R

April 23, 2012, the day Carrie arrived!  I want to remember this date forever so we (me, Carrie #1, and all of my future Carries) can all celebrate her anniversary as my very first up front and center girl…just perfect in every way!

The hair fibers are soooooo silky and they tangle way less than any other wig I have ever had.  The permatease is outstanding!  The style is wonderful!  I love the color! The bangs swoop back perfectly and the hair coming out of the part is not hell-bent on going in a forward direction!  It’s a perfect amount of hair and it’s layered beautifully and it’s not exactly curled but it has large wavy flips at the ends.  I really can’t think of one negative thing to say about Carrie!  And here’s the shocking thing about it…

shhhhh, I don’t want Carrie to hear, but I can’t believe I’m saying all this about a permatease wig…after I had just vowed never to buy permatease again!

So, anyway I was looking at the inside of Carrie’s cap and, I don’t know what compelled me, but I compared it to My $200 Wig and they were identical!  I was so excited!!!  After researching online I discovered, at Cynthia’s wig review site – One Hundred Percent Real on Vimeo, that her name is Vi and she is also discontinued.  I am now on a mission to find the real color of Vi since she is the perfect color for me.  I’m wearing Vi in my profile pic, but the color looks nothing like it does in person.

Brittany by Amore in Copper Glaze

Hi guys, Diana here with my review of Brittany by Amore.  She is a synthetic, hand tied, double monofilament top wig.  She has a side bang and long, layered beautiful curls, or waves.  This wig has a lot of hair and is noticeably heavier than my shorter wigs, it is definitely not a summer wig.  The hair fiber is very soft and silky and has great movement.  It tangles a little, as you would expect, just because it’s a long, wavy wig.  Brittany is a beautiful wig, I love the color and I’m very happy with her.
