Imani-Brie by Vivica Fox in P4/27/30 and P2216

Imani by Vivica Fox (formerly Brie by Ebony) is a beautiful long, full wig that is layered and flipped up at the ends.  She has a middle skin part with a traditional wefted cap, she’s smooth and silky, does not tangle and is not too shiny.  She reminds me of Glow Girl by Forever Young and the FY’s Espresso is very similar to Imani’s P2216.  The quality of Vivica Fox’s wigs are definitely right in line with Forever Young wigs.  Color P4/27/30 is a medium dark brown base with light and medium auburn highlights.  Color P2216 is a very confusing color for me.  Leni’s P2216 has two colors:  caramel and apricot.  Joanna’s P2216 has four colors:  medium brown, caramel, apricot and blonde (which I thought was a mistake because Juliette’s P2217 has the same four colors).  Now, Imani’s P2216 has the blonde/apricot color on top with medium reddish-brown tips.  Maybe it’s because Vivica has created her own line plus she has taken over wigs from other lines like Ebony and Beverly Johnson.

Evelyn-Estee by Vivica Fox in FS4/27

Evelyn by Vivica Fox (formerly Estee by Ebony) in FS4/27 is a very cute little bob.  She has a semi-open wefted cap with a black skin side part.  Her hair fiber is very smooth, silky and shiny, but can be powdered.  FS4/27 is a medium dark brown with light auburn highlights.  Estee is a great summer wig!

Juliette by Vivica Fox in P4/27 and P2217

Juliette by Vivica Fox is a full hand tied, total stretch cap which is airy and extremely comfortable.  The dark color has a black skin part and the light color has a white skin part.  Her hair fiber is smooth, not shiny and does not tangle, but it could feel hot and heavy on your neck in the summer.  Color P4/27 is medium dark brown with light auburn highlights.  Color P2217 has medium brown, caramel, apricot and light blonde chunks.  The first two pics are not what the color looks like in real life, the rest of the pics are pretty accurate.  This wig has bangs that are half one color and half another color, which is probably just a flaw in this particular wig.  Vivica Fox’s wigs are very well made and well worth the price.

Bliss by Vivica Fox in P2216

Bliss by Vivica Fox in P2216 has a full handmade, hand-tied, full stretch cap with a skin part.  Her hair fiber is very silky smooth and does not tangle, but the hair is hot on my neck and I can’t wear it all day.  For me, this is not a summer wig.  The P2216 color is the same as Leni’s which is caramel and apricot and it is not shiny.  The first picture is accurate as far as color; the second has a light shining on it making it look more blonde than it is.  Vivica’s hand stitched caps are light, airy and very comfortable and give the hair good movement.  This is a great wig for the price!

Joanna by Vivica Fox in P2217

Joanna by Vivica Fox in P2217 is a beautiful shoulder length curly style wig with a full head of hair.  She comes out of the box with her hair clipped up in the back.  She has a traditional wefted cap with a two-inch deep hand-stitched lace front and curling iron safe Futura hair fiber.  The hair fiber doesn’t seem that silky to me but that’s probably because of the curls and the heat safe fiber; she is not shiny at all and has good movement.  Joanna came with lace that extended a couple of inches past the hairline and I cut it all the way back to the edge because the beige lace was too noticeable on my white skin, and it’s still too noticeable for me so I have never worn this wig out of the house.  The P2216 in this wig is different from Leni’s P2216 (because I just found out it’s not P2216, it’s P2217 even though I ordered P2216 and the box says P2216).  It’s medium brown and caramel with blond and apricot highlights and the color looks a little better on me than Leni’s caramel and apricot color.  Joanna is a very well made, wonderful wig for the price.

Leni by Vivica Fox in P2216

Leni by Vivica Fox in P2216 has a total stretch cap and is 100% handmade with Futura hair fiber.  There is a small skin part that’s barely visible.  She is very light and airy, has good movement, is soft and silky and does not tangle at all.  This is a great summer wig!  P2216 is, um…is a more saturated color??  I’m having a hard time describing it.  It’s a dark caramel base with yellow/apricot highlights and it’s not shiny.  The tone doesn’t quite go with my pink/white skin.  It looks better on Diana because her skin is slightly olive.  Overall it’s a nice wig for the price.
